Halloween was quite a bit different this year than in years past, but I have to say that I was impressed with all the extra effort people put into making it special in such difficult times. The DIY candy delivery shoots were a personal favorite, keeping trick-or-treating safe for everyone… simply amazing! Bravo to everyone who went the extra mile.
For our part in making Halloween special, we collaborated with the Brisbane Dance Workshop on their 21st annual Halloween Portrait fundraiser. The challenge was to make it both safe and fun, and I think we delivered!
The booking process was completely online, appointments kept families staggered just enough for a safe check-in and non-rushed photo time, and the venue was a beautiful outdoor park, decorated with more than a dozen skeletons, Peanuts characters, and pumpkins. Photos were delivered early the next morning via an online gallery, and all downloads and print orders were placed from the comfort and safety of home — a fully contactless experience from start to finish!
The best part? After all the post shoot sales were complete, we raised $1,152! Check out some of the fun costumes below.
